Job Description
This internship opportunity is designed to give qualified graduates practical exposure to ICT operations within the public service. Interns will be placed at CIPC’s Sunnyside Office in Pretoria and will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000. Participants will work closely with ICT professionals, supporting software development, IT systems, infrastructure, and related projects. The internship provides a valuable bridge between academic training and professional employment, preparing candidates for future roles in IT environments.

How to Apply
Assist with IT system support and user queries
Participate in software development and testing
Contribute to ICT infrastructure maintenance and upgrades
Support data management and IT security protocols
Assist in implementing and maintaining hardware and software solutions
Learn and apply ICT best practices and procedures
Collaborate with IT teams on projects and tasks
Report on progress and provide feedback to mentors or supervisors
Minimum Requirements:
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Information Technologyor
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Software Development
South African citizenship
Aged between 18 and 35 years
Must be unemployed and have never participated in any internship programme
Competencies:
Strong interest in ICT and digital systems
Basic knowledge of IT concepts, networks, and software
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
