Intern Program Administrator job at Einstein Rising

As an Intern Program Administrator, you'll oversee daily operations, coordinate activities, manage tasks, and ensure smooth service delivery to participants.
Program Development: Design, develop, and implement internship programs that align with organizational goals, objectives, and industry standards. Determine program structure, duration, eligibility criteria, and selection process.
Recruitment and Selection: Recruit, screen, and select interns through various channels such as job postings, university partnerships, career fairs, and referrals. Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for the program.
Orientation and Onboarding: Coordinate orientation sessions and onboarding activities for interns to familiarize them with the organization's culture, policies, procedures, and expectations. Provide information on program goals, roles, responsibilities, and resources available to support interns during their tenure.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, or seminars to enhance interns' skills, knowledge, and professional development. Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to provide relevant and meaningful learning opportunities.
Supervision and Mentorship: Assign interns to supervisors or mentors who can provide guidance, support, and feedback throughout the internship period. Facilitate regular check-ins, goal-setting meetings, and performance evaluations to monitor progress and address any concerns.
Project Management: Assign projects, tasks, or assignments to interns based on their interests, skills, and career goals. Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure completion within deadlines and quality standards.
Communication and Engagement: Maintain regular communication with interns to provide updates, share resources, address questions or concerns, and foster a sense of community and belonging. Organize social events, networking opportunities, and team-building activities to enhance intern engagement and collaboration.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with legal requirements, policies, and regulations governing internship programs, including labor laws, non-discrimination policies, and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting on intern activities, hours worked, and performance evaluations.
Evaluation and Feedback: Evaluate interns' performance, progress, and contributions throughout the program. Solicit feedback from interns, supervisors, and stakeholders to identify areas of strength, improvement, and opportunities for enhancement in the program.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the internship program. Collect feedback from interns, supervisors, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes or enhancements to enhance the program's impact and success.
Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, community organizations, and industry partners to promote the internship program, recruit candidates, and collaborate on initiatives that support talent development and workforce readiness.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the internship program, including expenses related to recruitment, training, compensation, and program administration. Monitor expenditures, track budget allocations, and ensure efficient use of resources.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in administrative tasks and office software.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in program administration or related field preferred.
