Job Description

As the ISR, you will serve as the primary point-of-contact between Mantrac and prospective clients, guiding them through the sales process, from initial contact to closing deals. Your main objective will be to drive equipment sales by recommending tailored solutions, providing excellent customer service, and meeting set revenue targets. This role demands a high level of initiative, product knowledge, and customer relationship management through digital and face-to-face channels.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain business relationships with assigned customers and prospects.

  • Develop expertise in machines, attachments, financing, and Customer Value Agreements.

  • Recommend cost-effective Mantrac solutions to increase customer productivity and profitability.

  • Conduct disciplined outbound campaigns via phone, email, and SMS.

  • Regularly update customer contact information and uncover new sales opportunities.

  • Ensure Mantrac solutions are considered in every purchase decision.

  • Greet and engage walk-in prospects and provide a superior retail experience.

  • Conduct or arrange demonstrations of machines and attachments.

  • Make at least 120 successful customer calls per week.

  • Monitor and report on market trends, competition, and product feedback.

  • Achieve the planned annual rate of contact for each customer.

  • Ensure all sales transactions align with Mantrac’s sales policies.

  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue goals.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • A minimum of a good first degree; a degree in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in telephone-based sales.

  • At least 2 years of experience in the heavy equipment sales or marketing industry.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with CRM tools.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
