Job Description
As an Informatics Analyst II, you’ll be the first point of contact for high-impact diagnostics clients using Abbott analyzers and automation systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to analyzer connectivity, middleware performance, automation system routing, and result verification processes. This role requires expertise in both IT and medical informatics to ensure customer systems remain operational and efficient. The position is primarily remote with up to 20% travel and includes after-hours and weekend support responsibilities.

How to Apply
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to connectivity and performance of analyzers, LIS, middleware, and automation systems
Support Abbott’s AlinIQ suite and other diagnostic informatics tools
Manage high-priority incidents that could affect multiple devices or systems
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, field service, quality, etc.) to share knowledge and resolve issues
Use remote tools and ticketing systems to document and manage customer support requests
Provide after-hours and weekend support as part of an on-call rotation

Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical/Hospital Informatics, or related field
At least 5 years of experience combining medical technology, IT or informatics, middleware support, and LIS installation/support
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience with SQL database queries
