As an **Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Administrator**, your role involves managing and maintaining an organization's computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure
Monitoring and Maintaining Networks and Servers:
Regularly monitor the organization's networks and servers to ensure smooth operation.
Address any issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Upgrading, Installing, and Configuring Hardware and Software:
Assess existing systems and determine the need for upgrades or new installations.
Install and configure hardware components (such as servers, routers, switches) and software applications.
Implementing Security Protocols:
Establish security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.
Set up firewalls, encryption, access controls, and other security protocols.
Monitor network traffic for potential threats.
User Account Management:
Create and manage user accounts for employees.
Control access permissions based on roles and responsibilities.
Diagnostic Tests and Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
Optimize computer systems for efficient performance.
Data Backup and Archiving:
Regularly back up critical data to prevent data loss.
Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.
End-User Feedback Systems:
Design efficient feedback mechanisms for end-users.

Candidate's minimum education level must be a bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
Candidate should have 3 - 5 years' working experience in a related field.
Candidate must have proven debian server administration experience.
Candidate should have the ability to support Microsoft windows workstations technologies (windows xp, 7, & 8)
Candidate should have the ability to implement and integrate new hardware and software products.
Candidate must have experience with open-source network and systems monitoring tools.
Candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities.
Candidate should be able to work under pressure.
Candidate with either; CCNA, MCSE, A+, Linux+, Network+ or Security+ certifications will be an added advantage
