Job Description
Finn Church Aid (FCA) is Finland’s largest international aid organization with operations in 12 countries and more than 70 years of experience in development and humanitarian work. FCA specializes in supporting local communities in three priority areas: Right to Education, Right to Livelihood, and Right to Peace.

This position will provide support and back up to the Human Resource function/department by performing a variety of administrative duties in the day-to-day responsibilities of the department. The position will work closely with and be supervised by Regional Area Manager
Main Tasks
Management of Human Resource Data and Other Staff Documentations
Recruitment and Selection
Promotes Employee Relations and provide guidance to employees on a range of HR management.
Coordinates Staff Orientation and Induction
Supports Implementation of Performance Management
Lead staff Training and Development needs and track implementation of capacity development of staff.
Leave management.
Teacher management
Prepare payroll for teachers monthly.
Take lead in the recruitment and orientation of newly recruited teachers including refresher trainings for exiting teachers and support staff.
Follows up performance management of teaching and non-teaching staff in line with FCA policy and MoE
Work with District stakeholders in the district to regarding management of teacher and other staff related issues.
Regularly update teachers’ files and soft copy database of teachers, support records
Take lead in management of staff conduct in the location and ensure any form of indiscipline in the schools is properly handled according to FCA HR policy.
Conduct refresher training on FCA polices for teaching and non-teaching staff.

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational psychology, Business Administration, or any other relevant qualification.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience with an International NGO
Professional computer skills; MS Word, Excel, internet, and emails etc.
Excellent people management skills
The ideal candidate should have good organizational, listening skills.
Good problem-solving skills to deal with a range of staff issues.
Excellent leadership skills
The incumbent must be a team builder, who is able to work successfully in a multicultural environment.
