Lively Minds are looking to appoint an exceptional HR Trustee to advance the organisation through an exciting phase of growth and evolution.
Participating in quaterly trustee meetings : these take place remotely and last around 2 hours
Chair the Remuneration Committee: these will take place bi-annually remotely and will last around 2 hours each
Provide ad hoc guidance or support on technical HR issues (for example joining interview panels for senior hires, providing guidance on complex employee relations cases)
Supporting the organisation’s Head of HR on key HR policies including recruitment, eqaulities and localisation, pay and remuneration, and performance management.
The Trustee will also have the opportunity to visit our programmes in Ghana and Uganda.
Please note that this Trustee role does not attract any remuneration.

Is an experienced HR leader or COO with responsibility for the HR function. Preferably with NGO experience and experience of scaling.
Lives in sub–Saharan Africa. Ideally with networks across a number of different Sub-Saharan African countries that can support our expansion goals
Is passionate about community development and equity
Shares our organisational values
Is growth-minded and open to new ideas and ways of working.
