Job Description
The HR Specialist will oversee the maintenance and optimization of HRIS and related platforms. This includes collaborating with HR and IT teams for upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security of employee data. The role involves developing dashboards and analytical reports, identifying trends to inform HR strategy, supporting compliance with legal and organizational requirements, and offering user training. The successful candidate will play a vital role in reporting on HR metrics for senior management and will assist in HR projects and statutory audits including BBBEE, skills development, and employment equity.

How to Apply
Facilitate and maintain HRIS and related platforms
Collaborate with HR and IT to implement system upgrades and enhancements
Troubleshoot and support end users on HR system functionality
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across systems
Develop data governance processes and documentation
Produce dashboards and reports on HR metrics and analytics
Support audits and statutory submissions (e.g., BBBEE, EE, skills development)
Identify trends and provide recommendations to support HR strategies
Submit regular reports to the HR & Corporate Manager (e.g., headcount, board reports, compliance audits)
Train HR personnel and other end-users on systems and best practices
Align HR data practices with organizational compliance frameworks
Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HR systems and analytics role (essential)
Proven experience with HRIS platforms (essential)
Project management experience (essential); HRIS implementation experience is advantageous
Strong knowledge of HR principles, data privacy, and compliance
Skilled in HR analytics and data visualization tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations
Adaptable, proactive, and professional with high integrity
