Job Description
Janta is looking for a HR Officer to oversee and enhance the HR processes both for the company and for clients who rely on Janta's outsourced HR services. This role involves managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, and supporting the full HR life cycle—from recruitment assistance to policy development.
The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing day-to-day HR operations with strategic input, contributing to the broader goal of providing top-tier HR solutions that align with Janta's reputation for speed, agility, and quality.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
HR Compliance & Policy Development
- Draft, review, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Kenyan labour laws and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular HR audits for Janta and client organizations, identifying compliance gaps and recommending corrective measures.
- Oversee documentation and record-keeping related to employment contracts, disciplinary processes, and performance records.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
