Job Description
The HR Officer will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, managing recruitment processes, and supporting effective workforce planning and resource allocation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the full recruitment and selection process (advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, onboarding).
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Manage employee records and maintain an updated HR database.
- Support workforce planning, resource mobilization, and allocation.
- Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals and staff development plans.
- Coordinate staff training, capacity building, and professional development initiatives.
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Prepare HR reports and provide strategic HR support to management.
- Support payroll administration and benefits management.
