Job Description

Sokoni Africa Limited is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel IT Manager to join our team. As a Hotel IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the information technology systems and infrastructure within our hotel. You will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of all technology assets and providing technical support to our staff and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the hotel's network infrastructure and technology systems
Ensure the security and integrity of the hotel's data and systems
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software
Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests, resolving any technical issues in a timely manner

Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hotel technology

Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role in the hotel industry
Strong knowledge of hotel technology systems, including PMS, RMS, POS, and networking

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
