Job Description
The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for supporting the station’s creative needs across traditional and digital media. Tasks include designing internal and external promotional material, conceptualizing campaign visuals, producing artwork for events and sales collateral, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The intern will gain practical experience in handling diverse design projects under tight deadlines while contributing to high-profile events and marketing campaigns.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design elements for digital and traditional media including websites, social media, brochures, flyers, billboards, and posters
Create visuals for seasonal campaigns and internal/external messaging
Produce event-related design work such as press ads, email signatures, social media collateral, and campaign cards
Support the marketing team by interpreting briefs and developing on-brand concepts
Update artwork and templates for show features, sales presentations, and social media platforms
Design sales and trade marketing materials including media kits and client invitations
Track online creative assets and collaborate with the digital team
Ensure high design standards and consistency with the brand’s corporate identity

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
National Diploma and/or Degree in Graphic Design
Code 08 Driver’s License
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to deep etch photos and handle print/online formats
Mac literacy and strong design skills
Basic knowledge of photography (an advantage)
Strong conceptual thinking and ability to interpret briefs
Team player with strong communication skills
Attention to detail and a “can-do” attitude
Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure
