Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We believe in the power and potential of every child but know this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it is girls who are most affected. The youth accelerator for change project is building on the work done by She Leads which is guided by the Global Strategy (All Girls Standing Strong), Global Advocacy Strategy (GLAS), the Pan African Advocacy Strategy (PAAS), and PIU Country Strategy. The strategy employs several integrated influencing approaches including targeted policy advocacy, strategic communications and campaigns, and empowerment.
