Job Description
The General Manager, Human Resource and Administration will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR and administrative strategies that support REREC’s mission and enhance organizational performance. The role involves managing recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, welfare, and administrative services. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight to ensure that HR policies and administrative frameworks foster a high-performing and compliant work environment.

How to Apply
Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of HR and administration policies, procedures, and systems.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, staff development, and succession planning.
Ensure performance management systems are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational objectives.
Promote a conducive work environment and strong employee relations practices.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Supervise the implementation of welfare programs and grievance resolution mechanisms.
Manage administrative functions including office services, records management, and facility management.
Oversee procurement and management of office supplies and services.
Advise management on best HR practices and workforce planning.
Ensure effective budgetary planning and control for the HR and Administration Directorate.
Coordinate leadership and governance development programs.
Academic and Professional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field from a recognized institution.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field.
A minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience, 5 of which must be at a senior management level.
Professional qualification and active membership in a relevant professional body.
Certificate in a leadership course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.

Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
High integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
