We are seeking a dedicated Gender and Safeguarding Officer to ensure the integration of gender equality principles and robust safeguarding measures in WITU's digital skills training and employment program for young women.
This role is crucial in creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all program participants.

Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Human Rights, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in gender mainstreaming and safeguarding, preferably in development projects
Strong understanding of gender issues and safeguarding principles in the context of youth empowerment programs
Experience in policy development and implementation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Sensitivity to cultural diversity and ability to work in multicultural environments
Commitment to promoting gender equality and protecting vulnerable individuals
