Job Description
The Physical Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering the GET Natural Science and FET Physical Sciences curricula up to Grade 12, collaborating with the Sciences faculty to enhance learning outcomes, and promoting STEM opportunities among girls. The candidate must demonstrate a passion for education, be adaptable to technological advancements in teaching, and be committed to upholding the ethos and values of the College. Participation in the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities, is expected.

How to Apply
Teach Physical Science to Grades 8–12, following the South African curriculum
Prepare and deliver engaging, effective lessons in Natural Science and Physical Science
Collaborate within the Sciences faculty to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery
Inspire and support learners to explore STEM fields and related careers

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends and methodologies

Uphold and model the values and Christian ethos of the College
Ensure compliance with SACE registration and all safeguarding protocols
Maintain a sexual offender’s clearance certificate as per legal requirements

Qualifications:
Relevant professional teaching qualification from a recognized institution
Proof of registration with SACE
Sexual offender’s clearance certificate
Experience and Skills:
Experience teaching Natural Science and Physical Science up to Grade 12
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum expertise
Interest in promoting and expanding STEM participation among girls
Competence in using IT for educational purposes
Passion for teaching and inspiring young people
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
