Greeting visitors: Welcoming guests, clients, or customers as they arrive at the front desk and providing them with a positive first impression of the organization.
Answering and directing phone calls: Handling incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate personnel or departments, and taking messages when necessary.
Managing inquiries: Responding to inquiries from visitors, clients, or customers regarding the organization's products, services, or procedures.
Managing appointments and reservations: Scheduling appointments, meetings, or reservations for clients, customers, or employees using appointment scheduling software or manual systems.
Handling mail and deliveries: Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages, as well as organizing outgoing mail for pickup or delivery.
Maintaining the reception area: Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and presentable, including replenishing supplies such as brochures, pens, and business cards.
Providing administrative support: Assisting with various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Handling payment transactions: Processing payments for services or products using cash, credit cards, or other payment methods, and issuing receipts as needed.
Assisting with security procedures: Monitoring visitor access, issuing visitor badges, and following security protocols to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
