Job Description
The Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist II will be responsible for the site-wide coordination of fixed equipment maintenance strategies. This includes ensuring the availability of safe, efficient, and high-quality repair and maintenance services covering preventive, routine, non-routine, and emergency needs. The successful candidate will also provide technical materials engineering support for ongoing operations and major maintenance shutdowns (turnarounds). The role requires a strong background in engineering standards and an ability to motivate cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate and facilitate the development of fixed equipment maintenance strategies across the facility.
Manage the entire maintenance function, ensuring safe and responsive delivery of routine and emergency services.
Support turnaround planning and execution with materials engineering expertise.
Ensure compliance with discipline-specific standards, specifications, and safety codes.
Drive continuous improvement in maintenance operations and team performance.
Provide leadership, motivation, and coordination to technical teams and contractors.
Ensure proper documentation and alignment with QA/QC procedures.
Adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and work demands.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Master's Degree (MBA/MSc/MA) is an added advantage.
10 – 15 years of relevant experience in fixed equipment maintenance or materials engineering within the oil and gas sector.
Strong knowledge of industry codes, design standards, and safety criteria.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent in English (written and verbal), especially for technical and business communication.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
