The employee is responsible to prepare, review, coordinate and analyze investment budget files in collaboration with key users for annual budget preparation within set deadlines.
The employee is responsible to prepare, review, coordinate and analyze investment budget files in collaboration with key users for annual budget preparation within set deadlines.
This also includes budget uploads to SAP, and 10 creation.
The employee is expected to ensure the integrity of Finance Systems and chart of accounts through constant review and updates.
Prepare the transfer instructions for posting of Inter-bank transfers in SAP. Control daily cash requests in line with the OPEX/CAPEX criteria and correct cost center criteria.
Ensure monthly preparation of monthly reports within the HQ timelines and ensure monthly clearance of technical account as well as ensuring that the liquidations reported agree to the balance as per the technical account.
The employee shall manage inter-company transactions between the parent company and its subsidiaries. Ensure smooth finance transactions processing, check for accuracy, and make postings on a timely basis.
Possess 20 years of experience of which ten (10) years should be with an oil and gas company with solid SAP experience.
Good knowledge of SCALA accounting tool
Good knowledge of Treasury Express Tool
Expert knowledge of Enterprise Resource System (ERP).
Knowledge of Integrated Planning and Budgeting.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
Broad knowledge and understanding of other relevant accounting standards
SAP configuration skills in the AP module.
