Job Description
Job Title: Financial Accountant (Multi-Entity Specialist)
Organisation: NFT Consult
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: The Financial Accountant will be responsible for of financial reporting, Finance operations, compliance and audits across all entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls. This role is instrumental to establish discipline across accounting processes, monthly close, statutory compliance, and ERP usage.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Close
Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close across all entities.
Prepare complete management accounts and statutory financial statements.
Own balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
Audit and Compliance
Coordinate external and internal audits; ensure clean audit outcomes.
Maintain compliance with tax authorities and regulators across jurisdictions.
Transactional Controls
Oversee and support AP, AR, procurement accounting, payroll journals and fixed assets.
Implement strong processes to avoid leakages, errors and control gaps.
Systems and ERP Ownership
Lead accounting ERP transition/migration and support process improvements.
Ensure accurate configuration and use of the chart of accounts, modules and reporting.
Group Support
Assist in consolidation and intercompany processes.
Prepare reporting packs to support the CFO and leadership.
