Job Description
The Finance Systems Data Analyst (FP&A) will drive the enablement of strategic and performance insights by implementing efficient financial planning systems and delivering data-driven solutions. This includes developing budgeting and forecasting models, translating business needs into system designs, and providing strategic oversight across finance systems architecture. The role also involves improving data reporting through A4O reports, maintaining finance data models, supporting SAP ERP systems, and providing end-user support and training. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to meet business requirements and enhance decision-making processes.

How to Apply
Drive strategic and performance insights through financial planning solutions
Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Determine and apply the best methodologies to achieve low variance between budgets and actuals
Translate financial/business needs into technical system design specifications
Design insightful reports using A4O and BPC to address business queries
Manage and adapt financial data models and advise on improvements
Enhance data integrity and visibility through standardized reporting tools
Analyze new business requirements for reports and analytics
Provide oversight for financial system architecture and design
Plan system maintenance activities, including UAT testing
Support and train users on reporting and dashboard tools
Engage with stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution delivery

CA(SA) or CIMA qualification preferred
Honours Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
Experience with financial planning systems and analytics
Familiarity with finance data and reporting tools
SAP ERP systems knowledge
Prior experience in management reporting, preferably in the retail sector
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
