A Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of an organization. This role involves managing financial planning, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Financial Planning and Analysis
Budgeting: Develop and manage the company’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Forecasting: Create financial forecasts to predict future financial trends and performance.
Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
Financial Reporting
Monthly and Quarterly Reports: Prepare and present financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Variance Analysis: Analyze financial variances between actual results and budgeted/forecasted figures, providing explanations for significant differences.
Management Reporting: Provide regular financial reports to senior management to inform business decisions.
Cash Flow Management
Cash Flow Projections: Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure the organization has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.
Working Capital Management: Optimize the management of receivables, payables, and inventory to improve cash flow.
Financial Controls and Compliance
