Bachelors or Honors degree in financial management or accounting
Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis
Extensive experience with accounting software systems, including implementation and customization
Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team
Experience in risk management and internal control procedures
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax planning
Have internationally recognised accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent), 5 years’ experience of work including project funds accountability from large entities like USAID, experience of accounting software
