Are you an accounting talent looking to get hands-on experience? We offer last-year accounting or finance students (or recent graduates) a part-time role in one of East Africa’s most exciting fintech startups.
What you would do
You will work with our finance team and handle incoming loan repayments. More specifically, you will:
Manage our repayment calendar
Prepare repayment schedules
Payment reconciliation
Allocate payments to principal, interest, and late fees
Perform extensive quality checks
Update back office systems
Pro-actively flag potential issues

Based on your skills, you may also support our financial controller with other accounting responsibilities.
This is a part-time role (40%-50% FTE) of several hours per day. This role is ideal for finance and accounting students in their penultimate year or recent graduates. There is an opportunity for this to grow into a full-time position.
