Job Description
The Finance and Operations Admin will provide administrative support across finance and operations, ensuring the smooth execution of business functions. The role includes overseeing tax submissions, payroll, procurement, supplier engagement, cost analysis, and financial reporting. The candidate will also coordinate projects with a financial focus, assist in audits, and participate in budget preparation. The position requires strong financial acumen, organizational skills, and fluency in English and French.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Provide administrative and marketing support when necessary
Coordinate company operations and finance-related projects
Ensure adherence to company administrative procedures
Negotiate long-term payment terms with suppliers and contractors
Manage tax submissions and payroll processes
Handle costing, generate quotations, and oversee procurement and sourcing
Build and maintain supplier relationships
Maintain daily transaction records and prepare financial documentation (balance sheets, invoices, quotations)
Manage accounts receivable and payable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support logistics, conduct financial audits, and track deposits and payments
Assist in budget formulation and execution
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (required)
Experience and Skills:
Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar financial role
Strong working knowledge of accounting practices and financial procedures
Familiarity with financial software and advanced Excel proficiency
Knowledge of financial regulations
Bilingual fluency in English and French (mandatory)
Strong IT and communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential data with integrity
