Are you a financial specialist capable of overseeing daily accounting operations while maintaining a strong focus on profitability? You might be the perfect candidate for our next accounting manager! We seek a passionate, detail-oriented specialist who can monitor internal control systems and make necessary modifications that affect the hotel’s bottom line by focusing on profitability. You will be in charge of payroll processing, monthly forecasting, reconciling general ledger accounts, and creating an annual budget, EFRIS management. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in finance and at least three years of management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Review the daily revenue activity list to ensure accountability, reconcile general ledger accounts, review any account discrepancies, and make corrections
Manage all phases of accounts payable invoicing, as well as manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable
Analyze all statements, balance sheets, income, and expense accounts to guarantee accuracy and recommend adjustments that would increase profitability
Support the daily accounting operations with the creation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets
Conduct monthly payroll audits and issue paychecks

Attention to detail and accuracy
At least; a degree in finance or a related field preferred
At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a full-service hotel
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and Tax filing of PAYE, NSSF, and EFRIS system management knowledge
Exemplary communication skills, math skills, strong leadership skills, and customer service skills are vital
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, such as Quickbooks.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
