Job Description
CEFA is implementing the GROW project in West Pokot County to improve living conditions and climate resilience for vulnerable communities. The Field Officer Agriculture will play a key role in strengthening food security, nutrition, and sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Improve the living conditions and the capacity to respond to shocks of populations most exposed to multidimensional poverty and the impacts of climate change.
- Address humanitarian needs and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities in ASAL areas.
- Improve safe and continuous access to drinking water and inclusive WASH services, with a focus on women, girls and persons with disabilities.
- Strengthen food security, nutrition, agriculture and pastoral livelihoods through sustainable practices, dietary diversification, income-generating activities, fodder production and support to.
