Job Description
The Farm Foreman – Broilers will supervise operations within broiler houses at the Fairview location. This includes managing daily poultry farming tasks, ensuring the implementation of bio-security protocols, overseeing staff performance, and maintaining high standards of animal welfare and hygiene. The foreman will also be responsible for keeping accurate records and interpreting data from graphs, ventilation systems, vaccination schedules, and feed bins. Familiarity with the 20 Keys productivity framework is essential.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee all operations in broiler houses
Supervise and manage farm staff
Implement and monitor risk management and bio-security protocols
Maintain and interpret registers, vaccination logs, and environmental control data
Conduct bin readings and ventilation monitoring
Ensure cleanliness and high standards of housekeeping
Apply 20 Keys methodology to streamline productivity

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Matric (Grade 12) qualification
At least 5 years of experience supervising a large-scale poultry production unit
Computer literacy will be an added advantage

Strong attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
Knowledge of the 20 Keys productivity model
Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
