Job Description
The Facility & Maintenance Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial and food processing machinery. The role involves managing daily operations related to facility upkeep, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and minimizing equipment downtime. The ideal candidate will apply both technical expertise and leadership skills to enhance productivity, extend equipment life, and support smooth manufacturing operations.

Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery, utilities, and facilities within the company.
Ensure that food processing equipment and systems function efficiently and in accordance with safety and operational standards.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Supervise maintenance staff and manage vendor relationships for outsourced services.
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and provide timely solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and spare parts inventory.
Support production operations by ensuring minimal downtime of critical equipment.
Collaborate with management to propose facility upgrades and improvements.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial and food processing machinery.
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead a team and work under pressure.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities.
