Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under listed vacant position in Buyende District Local Government.
Applications should be submitted in triplicate in Public Service Commission Form No.3 (2008) from Secretary District Service Commission Buyende, PO Box 87, Kamuli not later than 22nd February, 2024. Application forms can be obtained from The Public Service Commission Offices situated on 2nd floor Farmers House, Kampala and District Service Commission Offices all over the country.
Applications should bear the title of the post and reference number. Applicants should attach three sets of certified photo of their academic certificates and transcripts with detailed CV, National Identity Card plus three passport size photographs where applicable registration certificates and annual practicing licenses and also be attached. Serving officers should route their applications through Responsible Officer should be informed of the closing date to avoid late submission.

Duties:
Assist teachers in planning, preparing and conducting lessons; provide individual and group support to learners with special needs; monitor and record learners' attendance, progress and achievements; participate in school meetings, workshops and trainings; maintain a safe and conducive learning environment; perform any other duties as assigned by the head teacher or supervisor.

Qualifications:
A minimum of Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent; a certificate in Primary Education or Early Childhood Development from a recognized institution; at least two years of relevant work experience; good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under minimal supervision; willingness to adhere to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
