Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering instruction by preparing materials, setting up equipment, and providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
Student Supervision: Monitor students during classroom activities, recess, lunch breaks, and other school-related events to ensure their safety and well-being.
Behavior Management: Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and address challenging behaviors in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
Individualized Support: Provide support to students with special needs, learning disabilities, or behavioral challenges by implementing accommodations, modifications, and interventions as directed by the teacher or special education team.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, behavior incidents, and other relevant information in compliance with school policies and confidentiality requirements.
Physical Assistance: Provide physical assistance to students with mobility impairments or medical needs, such as helping with transfers, positioning, and accessing adaptive equipment.
Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other education professionals to develop and implement strategies for meeting the diverse needs of students and promoting their academic success.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for Education Assistants II positions. Some employers may prefer candidates with additional education or training in education, child development, special education, or a related field.
