Job Description
As an Editorial Writer, you will contribute to the creation and maintenance of Kiddom’s high-quality curriculum content by manually editing interactive materials and ensuring all published content meets quality standards. Reporting to the Curriculum Product Manager, you will be responsible for implementing rigorous proofreading and quality control processes, collaborating across teams, and ensuring content aligns with the platform’s instructional goals.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in copyediting and instructional design, and who is comfortable managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that teachers and students receive clear, accurate, and engaging educational content.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Author and edit interactive question types using Kiddom’s digital platform
Proofread, fact-check, and copyedit curriculum lesson presentations
Edit and publish supplemental curriculum resources
Conduct quality assurance checks and provide feedback
Maintain and improve editorial protocols and workflow processes
Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of content
Support the curriculum team with additional editorial and design tasks as needed

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required:
3+ years of experience using Adobe InDesign
3–5 years of editorial experience, including copyediting and proofreading
3–5 years of project management experience
2+ years of instructional design experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Empathy for educators and a commitment to equity in education
Creative problem-solving and collaboration skills
