Job Description
The Director Corporate Affairs provides strategic leadership and oversight in corporate affairs, driving the commission's objectives forward through effective administration, technical guidance and operational management.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinates the development and implementation of short-term and long-term communications strategies for the commission
- Coordinates the development of public relations strategies to promote the corporate image of the commission
- Ensures the implementation of public relations activities
- Coordinates the design of best media practice to promote the corporate image of the commission
- Establishes rapport between the commission and major players in the media industry both domestic and international
- Coordinates the preparation of public relations reports to management
- Coordinates the conduction of analyses of media landscape, especially on publications in the print and electronic media
- Supervises and appraises the performance of subordinate staff in the unit
