Job Description
The Direct Sales Agent, Team Leader will be responsible for identifying prospective clients and onboarding them to Ecobank services. The role involves acting as the bank’s representative in the field, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML standards, selling POS and QR services, and promoting bancassurance products. The position also requires maintaining accurate sales records, facilitating account openings, and delivering excellent customer relationship management while adhering to the bank’s code of conduct.

How to Apply
Identify prospective customers from local corporates, SMEs, NGOs, institutions, and social groups
Represent Ecobank as the first point of contact in target markets
Record and report customer inquiries, complaints, and market feedback
Keep accurate sales records and submit reports for commission payment
Ensure compliance with account opening procedures, KYC/AML, and agent banking guidelines
Promote and sell POS and QR code/Tan QR activation to eligible customers
Promote and sell bancassurance products (IPF and cash premium payments)
Facilitate the opening of all types of CMB accounts on behalf of the bank
Uphold the bank’s code of conduct and legal requirements in all activities
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and relationship management
Prior experience in the banking or telecommunications industry is preferred
Key Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent sales and negotiation abilities
Ability to work under minimal supervision
High level of integrity and professionalism
Understanding of banking operations and customer service
