Job Description
The Dental Assistant will be responsible for supporting dentists in routine and specialized dental procedures, maintaining clean and sterile environments, preparing instruments, and managing patient records. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist dentists during dental procedures
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dental treatment areas
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
Manage and update patient records using computer systems
Schedule appointments and maintain accurate dental logs
Support minor surgical procedures as needed

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Certification or Diploma in Dental Assisting
