Summary
The Field Officer will work with HAC staff and partners (majorly Govt. Health Facilities) to conduct a baseline survey, collect relevant data, train store managers at health facilities, monitor and network with relevant officials in all implementing districts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Data Field Officer will:
Visit and conduct a baseline survey of selected Health Facilities using Odoo ERP, Kobo tool box and upload data after completion.
Support in identifying suitable sites for stock management systems to run in health facilities.
Mentor, coach and train the Health workers on usage of the stock management tool.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with health workers to ensure they hit the project goals.
Monitor and report on the progress and usage of the stock management tool.
Support with challenges health workers are having with the stock management tool.
Attend and participate in project related and staff meetings.

Background & Qualifications
Required
A Diploma in Information Technology, Procurement and logistics Management, and any other related degree.
At least two years of relevant work experience.
Strong spelling and writing skills in English.
Verbal proficiency in Luganda.
Computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and experience using Kobo Toolbox.
Preferred
Experience working in the public health sector, community engagements and mobilization.
Experience using Google Drive products, Odoo ERP, project management software.
Experience in Health Supply chain management
Experience in report writing, writing Blogs.
Additional Qualities
Experience or willingness to travel and work in remote, and rural locations
Willingness to ride a motorbike
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
Self-driven and able to work in new, unstructured environments
Strong problem-solving abilities
Highly organized

Compensation
This position is designed as a short-term (3 months) position. Compensation is UGX 1,500,000 per month before taxes. Field travel expenses will be paid for by Health Access Connect. The employee is not eligible for any other benefits such as medical insurance.
