Job Description
As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in supporting enterprise-level migrations to cloud infrastructure by analyzing data, documenting system boundaries, and optimizing performance across cloud environments. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand the current state of networking and interfaces, support training and best practices, and ensure system requirements are met. Responsibilities include creating conceptual designs, performance tuning, architectural reviews, and producing detailed network diagrams and documentation. The position also involves collaboration with Cloud Engineers and contributing to testing, change requests, and proposals.

How to Apply
Analyze data to identify architectural migration patterns and dependencies
Document networking, interfaces, and Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW) boundaries
Support phased migration planning by evaluating workgroup attributes
Align data ingestion strategies with business-specific delta lake
Contribute to conceptual design and system documentation
Develop and review system-level requirements and performance strategies
Monitor and optimize network performance in cloud environments
Develop and validate test plans and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
Maintain documentation for network policies, designs, and procedures
Support cloud migration from on-premises infrastructure
Produce network diagrams, conduct testing, and support proposals
Collaborate with Cloud Architects on infrastructure and design improvements
Required:
Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience (or equivalent professional experience)
Proven experience with cloud-based servers and applications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Expertise in technical documentation and reporting
Agile environment experience
Preferred:
Certifications in relevant technologies
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
