Job Description
Customs Clearance Specialist role at Exquisite Solution Limited, responsible for coordinating import documentation, customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods for a client in the telecommunications sector.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate import and customs documentation
- Obtain required import licenses, permits, and approvals on time
- Coordinate and track international shipments to ensure timely arrival
- Liaise with banks and customs authorities to obtain PAAR and complete pre-clearance requirements
- Obtain rotation numbers and initiate pre-clearance activities in advance
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of import duties and taxes to URA
- Coordinate with customs brokers and LSPs to expedite clearance and delivery
- Monitor customs clearance lead times and ensure compliance with SLAs
- Resolve customs queries, clearance issues, and post-clearance audit matters promptly
- Coordinate inland transportation, LSP invoices, refunds, and POD documentation
