Job Description
As the Customer Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the customer service department. This includes monitoring and evaluating staff performance, coaching team members, and ensuring that high service standards are maintained. You will be actively involved in solving customer complaints, managing customer interactions, and contributing to the development of effective service policies. This role also requires maintaining accurate records and offering support where needed across service operations. You will play a critical role in creating a seamless and satisfying customer experience.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Supervise and assess customer service staff activities and provide regular performance feedback
Monitor and coordinate daily customer service operations
Assist customer service staff with their duties when necessary
Train team members on customer retention, service techniques, and company policies
Manage customer flow to ensure smooth operations and quality service
Authenticate and monitor returns, exchanges, and void transactions
Investigate and resolve customer service-related complaints
Support the development and enforcement of customer service policies and explain them to both staff and clients
Maintain proper documentation of customer service department activities
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication or a relevant field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient understanding of customer service principles and office procedures
Strong computer literacy and familiarity with office software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
Professional phone etiquette
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
