Job Description
As a Credit Analyst (Loan Officer), you will be tasked with identifying and generating new client leads, performing credit assessments, marketing the institution’s loan products, and fostering strong relationships with clients. You will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring prompt loan repayments. This position plays a key role in the financial sustainability and growth of Universal Microfinance. Applicants must have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Generate sales leads from potential loan applicants
Conduct credit risk assessments on clients
Market and promote loan products to target customers
Build and maintain positive client relationships
Monitor and ensure that clients repay loans according to agreed terms

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of a diploma or degree from a recognized tertiary institution
1–2 years of relevant experience in a financial institution or similar environment
