Carrefour was launched in the region in 1995 by UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim, which is the exclusive franchisee to operate Carrefour in over 30 countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, and fully owns the operations in the region. Today, Majid Al Futtaim operates over 320 Carrefour stores in 16 countries, serving more than 750,000 customers daily and employing over 37,000 colleagues.

Coordination and Communication:
Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with other departments to ensure financial processes are integrated and aligned with organizational goals.
Communication: Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial managers and staff, providing guidance on financial policies and procedures.
Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating payment terms and resolving payment-related issues.
System Management and Improvement:
Financial Systems: Manage and maintain financial systems and software, ensuring that they are up-to-date and functioning effectively.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in financial regulations, technologies, and organizational priorities.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across departments.
Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
CPA (Certified Public Accountant): Provides a strong foundation in accounting and financial management.
CMA (Certified Management Accountant): Focuses on financial planning, analysis, control, and decision-making.
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst): Beneficial for roles involving investment analysis or financial strategy.
