Job Description
The Content Creator will play a key role in strengthening Hill Lane Autoshop’s marketing and communication efforts. The role involves creating high-quality content including videos, graphics, social media posts, blogs, and promotional campaigns to attract, engage, and retain customers. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that all content reflects the company’s brand identity, enhances visibility, and supports sales objectives. The position also requires staying up to date with digital trends, analyzing performance metrics, and continuously improving strategies for greater reach and impact.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and publish engaging content (text, images, video, graphics) for social media and website platforms.
Manage social media accounts and increase brand visibility through consistent posting and community engagement.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create content aligned with promotional campaigns.
Conduct market research to identify trends, topics, and content opportunities relevant to the automotive industry.
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and social media algorithms.
Monitor analytics and prepare reports on content performance, engagement, and conversions.
Respond to customer inquiries and feedback on digital platforms to build strong online relationships.
Support the design and execution of advertising campaigns, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Maintain brand consistency across all communications.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience
Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
Familiarity with design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
Experience with video production and photography is an added advantage.
Core Competencies
Strong communication and storytelling skills.
Creativity and ability to generate fresh ideas for digital campaigns.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, SEO, and analytics.
