The Chief Internal Auditor is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory and compliance related audits and reviews of UPMB.
The Chief Internal Auditor also provides advice on internal control to management, including responding to questions on risk management techniques.
The Chief Internal Auditor reports directly to the Board of Directors and administratively to the Executive Director.

To qualify for this position, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, and a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIA.
The candidate must also have at least five years of experience in internal or external auditing, preferably in the health sector.
The candidate must have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in computerized accounting and auditing software.
The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and adhere to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
