Job Description
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zeenode Ltd you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to drive the company's continued success and growth. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all aspects of the business, including operations, sales, marketing, product development, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in the software industry, with a deep understanding of the technology landscape.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve growth objectives and maximize market potential.
Lead and mentor the executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Drive sales and marketing initiatives to expand market share and increase revenue streams with an outlook to the African Market.
Oversee product development efforts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government agencies, and industry partners.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and other networking opportunities

Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of executive leadership in the software industry, preferably within the technology sector.
Strong understanding of software development processes and technology trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action.
Experience working in a multicultural environment, preferably in East Africa.
Knowledge of Regional business environment and regulatory framework is desirable.
