Job Description
The Career and Alumni Coordinator will work with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) to help scholars transition into the workforce and maintain strong alumni connections. This role will involve organizing career counseling, mentorship, job placement, and leadership development. The Coordinator will also facilitate workshops, events, and partnerships with employers, while fostering communication between alumni, scholars, and UGHE.

Conduct career assessments and design career service programs to support scholars' transition into the workforce.
Provide career counseling and coaching to scholars and alumni.
Facilitate job placements and internships through employer partnerships.
Organize and execute workshops on resume writing, interview skills, networking, and leadership.
Build and manage an alumni network, organizing professional development and networking events.
Coordinate mentorship programs and provide regular mentorship feedback to scholars.
Maintain alumni and career services data and report on outcomes.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with employers and community organizations.
Plan and execute career-focused events and initiatives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align career development initiatives with UGHE’s goals.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Public Health, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in career development, alumni relations, or a related field, ideally in higher education or healthcare.
Strong understanding of the health sector’s education system and career pathways.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience in managing networks and partnerships.
Familiarity with career development platforms and database management.
