This is a full-time on-site role for a Cambridge Teacher - Lower Secondary at Sycamore International School. The Cambridge Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, education, communication, teaching, and training. They will create engaging and effective lesson plans, deliver instruction, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents.
Curriculum Delivery: Delivering lessons based on the Cambridge curriculum, ensuring that all topics and learning objectives are covered effectively.
Lesson Planning: Planning engaging and informative lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
Assessment: Designing and administering assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. This includes formative assessments during lessons and summative assessments at the end of units or terms.
Feedback and Grading: Providing constructive feedback to students on their work and grades, guiding them on areas for improvement and celebrating their achievements.
Differentiation: Adapting teaching methods and materials to accommodate students with different learning styles, abilities, and needs, including those with special educational needs or English as a second language.
Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment by managing student behavior, fostering mutual respect, and enforcing classroom rules consistently.
Parent Communication: Communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, academic performance, and any concerns or achievements.
Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in teaching, curriculum changes, and advancements in education.

Experience in lesson planning, education, communication, teaching, and training
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
Knowledge of the Cambridge education system
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
