Job Description
The Business Development Manager: Huawei Enterprise is responsible for identifying and growing business opportunities in the African market. The role includes designing customer-focused solutions, assisting with tenders, delivering product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POC), and supporting Huawei Enterprise clients internally and externally. The ideal candidate will maintain strong customer relationships, ensure accurate order processing and delivery, participate in product training, and work collaboratively with partners to drive sales performance and customer satisfaction.

How to Apply
Design client-specific solutions and assist with tender processes
Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POC)
Provide customer support and maintain partner relationships
Monitor order accuracy and timely delivery
Ensure up-to-date maintenance of pipeline documents and quotes
Assist with product credit processes and internal logistics coordination
Promote Huawei incentives and products to partners and clients
Attend internal and external training; maintain certifications annually
Support training sessions for customers and staff
Conduct client courtesy calls and refresh older quotations
Provide daily/weekly customer visit feedback
Maintain expert product knowledge and adapt to evolving business needs
Travel regionally and work after hours when required
Minimum Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12)
Tertiary qualification in commerce (advantageous)
Huawei pre-sales and sales certifications (required or in progress)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the ICT distribution channel
Experience with Huawei Enterprise products preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
Project management and marketing principles
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong customer service and relationship-building capabilities
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Administrative proficiency (Microsoft Office)
Conflict management and negotiation skills
Numerical accuracy and information processing
Organisational and delegation capabilities
High adaptability, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail
