The Business Developer – Tendering Specialist will be responsible for the full cycle of business development and bid management, from identifying suitable opportunities and preparing compelling proposals, to maintaining records and supporting contract negotiations. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of procurement processes in both government and private sectors. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all bids meet compliance standards and enhance the company’s success rate in competitive tenders.

How to Apply
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company growth goals
Monitor tender portals and identify relevant RFPs, RFQs, and tenders
Prepare, review, and submit timely and high-quality bid proposals and tender documentation
Liaise with internal departments (technical, finance, legal) for bid support
Ensure all tender requirements are met and implement strategies to increase bid win rates
Maintain detailed records of bids and tender submissions
Build and sustain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategic planning
Support contract negotiations and oversee post-award processes as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Sales, or a related field
3–5 years’ proven experience in business development and tendering
Demonstrated success in bid preparation and securing contracts
Knowledge of public and private procurement processes
Strong writing, communication, and negotiation skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and tender management systems
Preferred Experience in sectors such as construction, IT, or logistics
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
