Job Description
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into technical requirements for software development teams. Responsibilities include reviewing and documenting business requirements, participating in the full software development lifecycle, supporting QA and release management, and contributing to project planning and evaluation. The role also requires working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to implement optimal IT solutions and ensure compliance with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration and EDI, along with solid analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

How to Apply
Consult on practices for defining business requirements and documentation
Review and refine business needs and translate them into functional requirements
Ensure requirements are testable and verifiable
Support software development, QA, and product delivery
Assist project and release management teams in coordinating development activities
Identify and recommend technology solutions with guidance
Support project scope, estimation, evaluation criteria, and documentation
Define system objectives and align technology with business goals
Evaluate software tools and products based on defined requirements
Participate in design, build, and test phases of IT projects
Travel as needed (5–25%)
Perform other assigned duties
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
6+ years in IT with experience in business and technical analysis
2+ years of EDI experience (as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or Test Analyst)
Benefits administration industry experience
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies
Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
Proficient communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Change management and team collaboration experience
Preferred:
SQL knowledge
Medicare and retiree data exchange expertise
