Job Description
The Biology Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to secondary school students following the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum. This includes IGCSE and AS/A-Level Biology classes. The role requires lesson planning, assessment, student mentorship, and participation in school activities. Applicants must be committed to continuous professional development and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons for IGCSE and A-Level students.
Prepare teaching materials in alignment with Cambridge curriculum guidelines.
Assess student performance and provide timely feedback and reports.
Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development activities.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence.
Incorporate digital tools and technology in teaching practices.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a relevant field.
A degree in/with Education is required.
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
Prior experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Biology under the Cambridge Curriculum.
Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for student-centered learning and academic development.
Computer literacy and ability to integrate technology into teaching.
All academic certificates must be certified.
Foreign qualifications must be accredited by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
